We are pleased to invite you to the 12th Annual Meeting of the Midwest Econometrics Group, which will be held on October 18-19, 2002, hosted by the Department of Economics, Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

If you are planning to attend the meeting, please note the following due dates:
Friday, July 19: submitting a paper
Friday, August 2: registering for the meeting
Tuesday, September 17: reserving a room at the Blackwell Inn

The meeting begins on Friday, October 18, at 1:30 pm (with check-in starting at 12:30 pm). Sessions on Saturday, October 19, will end at approximately 4:30 pm. All sessions will be held in Pfahl Hall, Fisher College of Business, at 280 W Woodruff Avenue on the Ohio State campus. All registered participants are invited to a conference dinner on the evening of Friday, October 18.

Registration

This year there will be a conference registration fee of $20 ($10 for graduate students). There is no additional charge for the conference dinner. As usual, participants also pay for their own accommodation and travel.

Registration for the meeting is due by Friday, August 2, 2002. You may register by mailing or faxing the registration form (click here) to the address given below, or you may send the registration information by email.

A check for the appropriate registration fee, payable to The Ohio State University, should be mailed to the address given below. Checks must be in United States dollars and drawn on a bank in the United States. The Department of Economics is not able to process credit card payments.

Accommodation

A block of rooms is being held at the Blackwell Inn, for Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday nights, at the rate of $129 per night. The Blackwell Inn is located in the Fisher College of Business, at 2110 Tuttle Park Place.

Please make room reservations directly with the Blackwell Inn, (866) 247-4003 or (614) 247-4000. To get the discounted rate, mention the Midwest Econometrics Group or the Ohio State university department of Economics. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, September 17, 2002.

If you would like to present a paper, it must be submitted via mail or email (in any standard format) by Friday, July 19, 2002.
